Our History and Mission
The Federated Garden Clubs of New York State was founded in 1924 and incorporated in 1930 for the purpose of supporting the garden clubs of New York State. Presently we have almost 6000 members in 168 clubs. Membership in FGCNYS offers garden club members the opportunity and privilege of participating with others in advancing and promoting the objectives of the organization.
Our Districts and Member Clubs
The Federated Garden Clubs of NYS is comprised of ten Districts. Each District is under the supervision of an elected Director and its own Board. Each District Director represents the District as a member of the State's Executive Committee and Board. Within each district are the member clubs, currently totaling 168.

FGCNYS offers scholarships to college students studying fields related to our objectives.
